CATC offers a range of study options to suit your lifestyle:

1. Full Time
   Full time study is the answer if you're able to dedicate yourself completely to study. Students attend the college from Monday to Friday either in the morning or afternoon.
2. Part Time
   This is a perfect option if you are working full time. Part time classes are designed to be as convenient as possible and are held two evenings per week outside of normal working hours.
3. Online Learning
   Also known as Distance Learning or Correspondence education, this study mode allows for complete flexibility to study when and where you want. Teaching and learning take place online via virtual classroom platforms and CATC is a leader in online learning innovation supporting students closely throughout their practice. This study option meets the needs of students who may lead busy lifestyles, may be seeking to compliment existing skills, who may regularly travel and for those who live outside of the capital cities.
4. Study Pathways
   CATC Design School with its sister College Billy Blue College of Design offer structured education and career pathways which enable you to extend your knowledge and experience, to specialise in a niche area of the creative industries, or to advance your credentials and networks. These practical pathway programs are structured either as direct articulations or RPL progressions which support access, upgrading and advancement. Via our study pathways you can quickly achieve duel qualifications, gain access to a Degree program via a Diploma pathway if you did not achieve a necessary ATAR score, or simply advance your know-how, skills and experiences to step up in a creative industries career. 5. Going on to study at Billy Blue College of Design
   If you want to study design at CATC but you're also thinking of advancing your skills and experience by going on to study one of the Degree programs at Billy Blue College of Design, you'll need to successfully complete the relevant CATC Diploma and meet the Billy Blue entry requirements (www.billyblue.edu.au/enrolment/entry-requirements). Successfully meeting these criteria will provide you with automatic entry into the 2nd Year of Billy Blue's three year Degree programs - for example, successful completion of the 1 yr Diploma of Graphic Design at CATC will grant you automatic access into the 2nd yr of the Bachelor of Applied Design (Communication Design) at Billy Blue.
   
   Through the RPL 'Recognition of Prior Learning' process, where access is assessed case-by-case, CATC Diploma graduates can gain entry into the various Billy Blue Bachelor of Applied Design specialist streams including Commercial Interiors, Residential Interiors, Branded Environment, Branded Fashion and Digital Media courses. CATC Design School and Billy Blue College of Design are both part of Think: Colleges Pty Ltd.
   
   

Design Direct Entry Program

This program will enable you to build your academic and English skills to succeed in the design program. Learn to refine your research and referencing skills, become efficient in planning your study time and upgrade your skills in writing assignments. You will also learn how to be an effective member of a team, think critically and achieve the best assessment results.

An added advantage of this course is access to Learning and Academic Skills (LAS) support for your entire study duration at CATC Design School.

Your LAS tutor will assist you to continue to improve your skills during your study, both in specialist academic skills classes and in bookable tutorials. This service aims to significantly improve your assessment grades.

CATC workshops are perfect if you're still at school, studying something else or thinking of a career change. Workshops give you a better understanding of what is involved with design and creative industries and provide an insight into how we teach and what you might learn at CATC. They are hands-on, fun and extremely beneficial if you're looking at studying design.
