ESOS Framework
The Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework is a set of legal regulations related to overseas students studying in Australia on student visas. It sets guidelines and minimum standards to protect you as a student as well as protecting Australia's reputation for providing quality education and support services. It also provides tuition and financial assurance. The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) uses the ESOS Framework to regulate education for overseas students. The ESOS Framework links with Australia's immigration law and includes requirements for overseas students and Australian institutions.
We have included below several links to help you understand the regulations and make the most of your time in Australia. These include short animated videos, checklists, and explanations in several other languages. You can also access the Easy Guide to ESOS available here
