The Graphic Design Workshop is a one-week introduction to the world of Graphic Design. It is perfect for anyone still at school, studying something else or even someone thinking of a career change. It covers such aspects as:

Folio Preparation

Computer Graphics

Desktop Publishing

Graphic Design

Typography and Layout

 

The workshops run in the January, June/July and September School holidays at our Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne campuses.

Desktop Publishing Course

The Desktop Publishing Course is an intensive course designed specifically for those who currently work within the Graphic Design industry and wish to learn new features of the latest programs, or for those who have had an extended break from the industry and wish relearn the necessary computer skills to re-enter the work force. Students will learn the following programs:

Adobe Illustrator™

Adobe PhotoShop™

Adobe InDesign™

Course length is 4 weeks full time and 20 weeks part time.

Desktop Plus

The Desktop Plus Course is specifically designed for people who currently work with Graphic Designers or in the Graphic Design industry and are not Graphic Designers (ie. Marketing, Public Relations, Personal Assistants, Administration Officers etc) wishing to learn the necessary Design and Computer skills to design simple media. Students will learn the following programs:

Adobe Illustrator™

Adobe PhotoShop™

Adobe InDesign™

Students will also learn three theory-based subjects:

Typography and Layout

Colour Analysis

Graphic Design Principals

Course length is 6 weeks full time and 22 weeks part time.

Short Program Courses
